HushboxTerms of Use
Your use of Hushbox is governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), together with the additional terms below. If they conflict, the Standard EULA prevails.
Your data and your keys
Hushbox encrypts your content on your device. Only your passcode, Face ID (if enabled) or recovery key can open it. We do not have and cannot obtain these keys. If you lose both your passcode and your recovery key, your content cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. You are responsible for keeping your recovery key safe and for keeping your own backups, for example by using Export to Files.
Hushbox Pro
Hushbox is free for up to 100 items. Hushbox Pro is available as a one-time purchase or as a yearly auto-renewable subscription.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the period.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings after purchase.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
If a subscription ends, everything already in your vault stays accessible and exportable. Only adding new items beyond the free limit and Pro features stop.
Acceptable use
Do not use Hushbox to store or share content that is illegal where you live, or that you have no right to possess. You are responsible for the content you keep.
No warranty
Hushbox is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable and secure, but no software is free of defects, and to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for loss of data. Keep a separate backup of anything you cannot afford to lose.
